SICB (Stuff I Create & Build) operates sicb.shop on WordPress and WooCommerce, hosted by Hostinger. This notice explains how we handle information when you browse, create an account or contact us.
Information and why we use it
- Account details: your name, email and account identifier let us sign you in, manage your account and provide support. Password authentication is handled by WordPress; passwords are not stored as readable text.
- Google sign-in: if you choose this option when available, Google provides basic profile and email information and a Google account identifier. SICB does not receive your Google password or access to your Gmail messages or contacts. A mobile number is requested separately; it is not automatically obtained from Google sign-in.
- Mobile number: your mobile number is required when saving Account details and is stored with your customer profile for order and delivery support. You can edit it there and use a different contact for billing or delivery. Additional shipping addresses and your default selection are stored privately in your account to make repeat orders easier. We do not treat providing a number as permission for marketing.
- Orders when sales open: billing and delivery details, purchased items, payment status and transaction references support fulfilment, downloads, accounting and dispute handling. Payment details entered with the payment provider are handled by that provider; do not send card details or OTPs to our support team.
- Support and technical records: messages you send, browser/network details and server security logs help us respond and protect the service.
Cookies and returning visits
WordPress uses authentication cookies to recognise signed-in customers. WooCommerce may use session and cart cookies. Remember me keeps password-based sign-in active for longer on that browser; sessions eventually expire. Logging out ends that browser session. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in and cart features. Use logout on shared devices. This update does not add advertising trackers.
Who processes information
Authorised SICB staff and service providers receive only what is needed for their role: hosting and security, Google if you choose Google sign-in, and payment or delivery providers when you order. Providers may process information in countries where they operate. We may disclose information where law requires it or to investigate abuse. We do not sell customer contact details. Any future marketing subscription will be a separate choice.
Storage, access and your choices
Customer details are stored in the site’s database. Access is restricted to authorised accounts and services; there is no public customer-data export. Records are kept for account support, fulfilment and applicable legal or accounting obligations, then removed or anonymised when no longer needed. Backups may retain records until their normal expiry.
You can correct your profile in My account. Contact us to request access, a copy, correction or deletion of your information, withdraw optional consent, or raise a privacy concern. We may verify your identity and retain records required by law. Withdrawing an optional choice does not prevent browsing. Services and accounts are intended for adults; contact us if a child has supplied personal information.
Updates and contact
We will update this page when our practices change and provide any notice required by applicable law. For privacy requests, use the subject “Privacy request” when contacting us.
